For Immigration Attorneys
Psychological Evaluations for Immigration Attorneys
A referral partner for your humanitarian and waiver cases: bilingual clinical interviews, clear timelines and professionally written reports in English, coordinated with your office from intake to delivery.
Case types
Each evaluation is written around the legal standard of the case:
How to refer a client
Referring takes a few minutes:
- Email or call with the client’s name, case type and deadline
- Your client books a free consultation (online, in English or Spanish)
- The client signs an authorization so I can coordinate with your office
- 1–2 clinical interviews over Zoom, then the report is written
Timelines
Standard reports are typically delivered within 15 business days. For close deadlines, an express report can be delivered in as little as 5 business days.
Share the filing or hearing date at referral so the interviews can be scheduled around it.
Report format
What you receive:
- Written in English for USCIS officers and immigration judges
- DSM-5-based clinical assessment of symptoms and functional impact
- How the client’s experiences relate to the legal standard of the case
- Clear, objective findings you can cite in your brief
Why clients and attorneys work with me
I am a licensed bilingual psychotherapist specialized in trauma. Clients tell their story in their own language, without an interpreter, which usually means a more complete clinical picture.
After the evaluation, clients can continue with trauma therapy or EMDR with the same clinician, if they choose to.
Questions from attorneys
Do you accept referrals from outside Florida?
Yes. Evaluations are online, and I evaluate clients located in Florida, Missouri, Kansas and Virginia.
What do you need from my office?
The case type, the client’s filing or hearing deadline, and any background you want considered. Relevant documents can be shared once the client signs an authorization.
Will you coordinate directly with my office?
Yes, once the client signs a release of information. I can confirm scheduling, timeline and delivery of the report with you.
Are interviews done with an interpreter?
No. I am bilingual, so interviews are conducted directly in English or Spanish. The report is written in English.
How are fees handled?
Fees depend on the case type and timeline. They are quoted directly to you or your client before any work begins.
